SUNOVA | casey. Coaster – one board, endless possibilities
The Coaster is the latest evolution in the casey. foil range. Developed over many years, it blends modern parawing concepts, the resurgence of SUP surf foiling and the consistent growth of wing foiling into one versatile shape.
In smaller sizes, the Coaster delivers high-performance freestyle potential, while larger sizes offer more stability, control and comfort. This makes it the perfect choice for riders looking for a single board that adapts to multiple disciplines and conditions.
Performance Highlights
- Very early take-off across all sizes
- Lively and responsive feel in smaller boards
- Stable and forgiving in higher volumes
- Excellent control during maneuvers and touchdowns
- True multi-discipline foilboard

Shape & Design Details
Outline:
The Coaster features a wider nose, a parallel outline through the mid-section and a pulled-in tail. The straight mid-section helps the board get onto foil as early and efficiently as possible. The additional surface area in the nose supports earlier lift, especially in the smaller sizes, while also providing better control for progressive freestyle maneuvers.
Rails:
The rails are rolled with hard bottom edges. This construction maximizes the effective bottom surface area, enabling earlier planing and more even volume distribution. The hard edges allow clean water release and reduced drag, while being tucked through the mid to rear section to prevent catching during more radical maneuvers.
Rocker:
The rocker follows a clean, flat arc with a parallel box section. This flatter rocker line allows the board to plane quickly regardless of discipline. A subtle tail kick helps keep the tail clear of the water when pumping up or during take-off.
Bottom:
A rounder nose transitions into a flat midsection. The rounded front helps soften touchdowns, preventing the board from sticking or bogging, while the flat planing surface through the middle enables effortless glide.
Deck:
The deck features a soft concave that positions the rider as close to the foil as possible while maintaining the required volume. The absence of sharp edges prevents water from being trapped on the deck after take-off.
Conclusion
The Coaster is where performance and functionality meet. If you want maximum fun and versatility on the water, you truly can't look past the Coaster.
