Who is the PowerPack for?

The PowerPack is made for riders who already have parawing experience and are committed to a more stash & glide style of riding. Its ultra lightweight design packs down to a very compact size and is ideal for riders who spend more time foiling hands-free than riding the wing very powered up. It is designed as a tool to get you up on foil, pack away and then enjoy the sensation of unassisted foiling.

For riders who are new to parawings, we recommend starting with the Pocket Rocket. The Pocket Rocket is more forgiving, built to handle the wear and tear of the learning phase and offers extra upwind efficiency for progression sessions.

Freehand control with the Parawing Bow Bar

Developed specifically for the PowerPack, the Bow Bar introduces a new level of comfort and control. By removing a central leader line, the design opens up the centre of the bar and frees your hand positioning, so you can focus more on your riding and less on where your hands need to be.

• The Bow line engages the central bridle levels on a ratio that controls the canopy more evenly through angle-of-attack changes.
• Power delivery becomes more progressive across the range, with refined low-end and top-end control through small changes in bar angle.
• A compact 36 cm bar length is used across all sizes, balancing maximum control with minimum packing size.

Secrets of the stash

The PowerPack's short bridles give a more direct connection to the canopy while also enabling a faster stash and swift redeployment. Combined with the new smooth bridle material, the entire pack-down experience becomes more intuitive and less fatiguing.

Bridle design, in detail

• Centre front line riser: bundling your front lines through the centre riser – excluding the wingtip lines – drastically reduces hand force and makes it faster and easier to reach the canopy.
• New bridle line material: developed specifically for parawing use, the coated front lines provide effortless, smooth and rash-free handling.
• Refined line diameter and stiffness: tuned for quick, clean packdowns and reduced tangles.
• Spanwise bridge lines: lines running across the underside of the canopy distribute load from the bridles evenly, avoiding excessive spanwise tension and allowing the profile and billow to be controlled more precisely.
• Trailing edge V-shrink tabs: carefully placed along the trailing edge to allow a reduced number of brake lines while maintaining balanced tension. The simplified bridle layout makes packing and redeployment easier, while the rounded parachute shape still delivers a powerful hit of lift to bring you up on foil.

PowerPack vs. Pocket Rocket

Although the PowerPack has intuitive handling, stability and strong pull to get you on foil, it is not designed as a first-time parawing. The longer-term durability for heavy crash use during the learning phase is not its primary focus.
