The Ideal Leash for Wing and Foil Boards

The ION Wing Leash Core Coiled Ankle is designed to keep your foilboard close and secure during your wing sessions. Its coiled 5’5” cord sits high on the board and minimizes drag – so you can focus on clean carves, tight transitions, and controlled touchdowns.

Thanks to its 7 mm cord, the leash is strong enough for wipeouts but light enough not to interfere with your riding. The padded ankle cuff fits securely with a wide Velcro closure, and the silicone print on the inside prevents it from sliding on your wetsuit – even when wet. ION supplies this leash with a removable leash string, giving you the freedom to attach it with or without.

Note: If you’re a beginner or want more space during crashes, consider using a longer SUP Coiled Leash for more distance between you and the board.
