The Universal Mini Pod redefines universal motor mounting: a smaller footprint, less drag, simpler handling and broad compatibility. Thanks to the toolless strap-and-latch system, the Mini Pod can be fitted or removed in seconds – ideal for riders chasing performance gains while keeping their setup fully removable and adaptable.
The low-profile shape borrows the slimmer form factor of integrated masts while staying 100% removable. That makes it the ideal upgrade for anyone after better ride feel and simpler installation, without committing to an integrated mast.
Design & How It Works
The three-part design consists of an Inner Pod that mounts to the V2 Motor, and a removable Outer Pod that conforms to the shape of your mast, similar to the existing pod. Both parts slide onto the mast and are secured with an EPDM rubber strap reinforced with Aramid fibre (3 sizes included). The compact shape minimises wetted area, cutting the drag and turbulence typical of conventional universal mounts. The result: improved motor traction, smoother surface motoring, easier take-offs and cleaner touchdowns.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will the Mini Pod fit my mast?
The Mini Pod is designed to fit almost every mast on the market. Three strap sizes combined with the 7-position ladder adjustment system on the Inner Pod give you a wide range of fitment options. Most masts use the Medium strap. One known case: the AXIS Fatty Mast (150mm chord) requires the Large strap, used with the rubber insert removed from the Inner Pod. If your mast falls outside these dimensions or has an unusual shape, we recommend checking fitment with us in person.
Do I need to tape the cable?
Yes. The included Mast Cable Guide helps route your motor cable neatly, but you’ll also need electrical tape (not included) to secure it to the mast. This matters for a smooth, vibration-free ride and to keep the cable clear of the propeller.
