Foil Drive FM+ 650 – 648 Wh for MAX+ and Fusion

The FM+ 650 is more than a battery – it's the heart of Foil Drive's new 43V platform. At 648 Wh, it delivers the perfect balance of runtime, weight and cost. For MAX+ riders, it's the highest capacity battery for a full surf session – Fusion riders add the FM+ Battery Adaptor for a lighter, more manoeuvrable alternative.

Gen2.5 Battery Technology

The FM+ 650 uses Foil Drive's new Gen2.5 technology, allowing the battery to perform deeper into the discharge cycle. Full power delivery right down to approximately 10% state of charge before any noticeable sag. More time on the water, less time watching the battery gauge.

Charging & Storage

The FM+ 650 charges via the 43V Charger (included with your Fusion or MAX+ System), averaging 85 minutes charge time. A unique Storage Mode lets you cap the charge level before long-term storage – recommended storage range: 30–60% state of charge (SoC).

Intelligent Bluetooth BMS

The integrated Bluetooth Battery Management System delivers accurate data to the V3 Controller and Foil Drive App: charge percentage, health status and SoC – even visible through the surf camera view. Name and track each battery individually.

One-Piece Design & Thermal Management

Battery and nose cone form one sealed unit, improving water flow, positioning weight directly over the foil's center of lift, and maximising durability. Internal thermal management ensures smooth, consistent thrust delivery from start to finish.
