The R2 Series (Rv2) is the second generation of the Code Foils R Series – and the most extreme, efficient and performance-focused front wing Code Foils has developed so far. With an aspect ratio of 15.8, the Rv2 is one of the most efficient front wings Code Foils has ever built. Its thin section cuts cleanly through the water, reducing drag and maximising glide.

Glide meets control

Despite its extreme efficiency, the Rv2 offers exceptional stability and predictability. It tracks confidently through long, drawn-out turns and invites flowing, snowboard-style carves rather than abrupt pivots. The Rv2 rewards smooth inputs, keeps an impressive amount of glide through transitions and gives riders the confidence to carry speed where other foils start to slow down.

Built to be versatile

The high aspect ratio does not tie the Rv2 to a single discipline – quite the opposite, it is what makes it so versatile. It accelerates out of flat water just as confidently as it holds a line through open-ocean bumps.

It proved this when the Rv2 741 won the Doctor – a race that starts with a flat-water sprint and then turns into downwind bumps. Riders also used the Rv2 at the 2026 M2O, an extremely demanding race that calls for a versatile foil. The Rv2 is not just a speed machine but a foil that excels in a wide range of conditions.

Choosing your size

All seven sizes share the 15.8 aspect ratio and therefore the same efficient character. The smaller sizes (475, 530, 590) are geared towards maximum top speed when there is plenty of energy in the water, the mid sizes (660, 741) cover the widest range of use – the 741 won the Doctor – and the large sizes (855, 990) deliver more lift for light conditions, pumping and dock starts, as well as for heavier riders.
