As the ARTPRO front wings pushed performance boundaries, AXIS began optimizing rear wings for high speed and efficiency. The result: the Skinny series – ultra-thin rear stabilizers with drastically reduced chord length, engineered to reduce drag, enhance acceleration, and deliver ultra-smooth turns at high speeds.
Who are the AXIS Skinny Rear Wings for?
Sizes 365/55, 362/50 and 360/45 are ideal for heavier riders or those progressing with high-speed gear. The smaller models (359/40 and 358/35) target experienced, lighter riders looking for a looser, faster feel. The 358/30 and 358/25 models are designed exclusively for downwind foiling and are not suitable for wingfoiling.
What makes the Skinny series stand out?
Skinny wings inherit the forgiving roll and smooth entry of the Progressive series, but with lower drag and less front foot pressure. They pair incredibly well with ARTPRO, HPS or PNG wings – especially when chasing top-end control in rough conditions or during long downwind runs. Expect a connected feel, predictable turning, and reduced resistance across the board.
Downwind Only: 358/30 & 358/25
The 358/30 and 358/25 models are built for light riders and Fireball compatibility in downwind foiling. Designed for reduced drag and faster pump cadence, they offer next-level maneuverability and glide – but are not recommended for wingfoil use.
