AFS enters the foil assist era. A range designed and built in Brittany, driven by AFS expertise. The goal is not simply to adapt existing equipment by adding a motor, but to develop a cohesive ecosystem where every single component is designed around the demands and possibilities offered by electric assistance.

The Infinity Mast × Foil Drive is the heart of this new Infinity range. Developed specifically for the Foil Drive system – for extended sessions, more waves, and more time on the water.

Why 80 cm? The 80 cm length offers the ideal balance for assist riding: enough depth for the propeller during assisted take-off, yet compact enough for dynamic wave riding.

The profile: At 14 mm thick for a 110 mm chord, this mast strikes the best balance between hydrodynamic slenderness and geometric stiffness. The moderate chord combined with progressive thickening towards the pod delivers all the drive needed at take-off, then frees up the manoeuvrability you want once flying. Less drag also means more range: every watt of the battery is turned into glide.

Pod position: The pod is positioned 15 cm below the plate – specifically engineered to keep the propeller sufficiently submerged during assisted take-offs, while allowing it to clear the water easily once on the wave.
