AFS Blackbird Skinny V4 – Ultra High Downwind Performance
The Blackbird boards were born in the AFS Advanced lab in 2022 – and have evolved version after version, shaped by feedback from riders pushing them every day. The fourth version is a bold, controlled evolution: progressing on every front without compromising on performance.
The Shape – Surgical Precision
Work on the Blackbird Skinny V4 shape is precise – surgical. The tail has been narrowed and both the rocker and tail kick have been completely reworked. The result: better overall balance, higher cruising speed, improved glide and more responsive handling – with undiminished stability in any conditions.
4 Sizes for All Rider Profiles
The range covers 4 sizes in two lengths and two widths, allowing precise matching to rider profile, body weight and conditions:
- Narrow (16.5" / 17"): For experienced riders seeking maximum efficiency and responsiveness
- Wide (18" / 18.5"): Easier take-off, more versatility – ideal for riders balancing glide and progression
