AFS Blackbird Mid-Length Carbon – The New Generation Mid-Length Experience
The AFS Blackbird Mid-Length Carbon combines the proven DNA of the Blackbird shape with a completely rethought ultra-premium carbon construction. Inspired by the downwind world, the board reinterprets the principles of long gliders for the demands of wingfoil and parawing – delivering an unprecedented combination of lightness, stiffness and everyday durability.
2026: Three New Sizes
The success of the Blackbird Mid-Length has driven AFS to expand the range in 2026 with three new sizes: 5'2 (50 L), 5'4 (65 L) and 5'8 (82 L) join the proven classics 5'6, 6'0 and 6'3, enabling even more precise matching to rider profile and conditions.
Ultra-Premium Carbon – Rethought
The new carbon layup delivers –21% weight reduction and +10% impact resistance compared to last year. The epoxy gel coat further reduces construction weight without sacrificing stiffness. The result: sharper transmission, more responsiveness and less sensitivity to everyday knocks.
